I found this video while hunting around websites, and it shows pictures from the still rumoured SimCity 5. These look pretty genuine, and the Maxis logo looks interesting too.

Is it me, or did some of the screens look a bit like one of the model railroad towns. And Simland?
Sims is dying and has lost my interest entirely – but it’s news like this that keep me coming back to this site. Thanks Spon1Player!
It looks more like a IRL model in some images then a game!
I really like the model railway look to it but I’m not sure if these are genuine images or if they are it’s probably not a good representation of what the finished product will look like.
How practical would tilt shifted graphics be when you are zooming around the city and want to click in different buildings?
Also wouldn’t the text on those buildings be in Simlish?

I hope this isn’t going to be too futuristic. Robot fighting is fine, I guess, as long as they also have football, basketball, and baseball stadiums.

It’s a total FAKE.. Not even footage. Just a bunch of still model city photos.
Taken down by EA on a copyright claim… seems promising.
