Timothy you are so right I love this game and ea can’t please us all so for all of us that are happy about it we’ll find a way to get it and you guys who don’t like it well wait for the next expansion pack to be made and maybe you will lilke that one all the other forums I’ve been on lots of people are wanting weather and other stuff but it will all come in time -_-

My comment wasn’t in any way rude or aggressive. It was just my opinion, which everyone is entitled to.

If you are excited for this Expansion Pack, then that’s great! But for me, personally, I feel disappointed.

Maybe once it’s released I will too, eat my words, who knows? But right now, from the trailer and info, I’m disappointed.

First of all as a reply to the person saying the only people wanting magic where “kids and twilight fans”, no. I am a teen and I am new to the series I joined before late night. I am also a horror fan, I hate twilight and infant I found true blood recently and am secretly a fan. I didn’t ask for magic, I wanted to just see where things go, I didn’t beg or plead for magic like I see a bunch of “old coots like you” begging on the forums. I get it, your a long time fan, that doesn’t mean you have any more say in what happens than I. You act as if they owe you the entire franchise. You can go ahead and whine and complain about “where is seasons? I am a long time fan and I deserve this and that!” did it ever cross your mind that, maybe, just maybe they are working on it? For pets they were workin gin it since the game released. Would you rather a super crappy “weather” in the base game vs. a full EP of weather with proper animations and such? They don’t pull EP out of thin air. Most of the things you are whining about they are probably working on right now. And you complain saying “I am loyal and they won’t give it to me!” well you don’t seem loyal right now, you seem like a “kid” who loves twilight and is complaining about something they don’t even know about.

You wonder why EP are sometimes missing love and thought. It’s because people like you are discouraging them and making them think, our fans don’t care and complain when we work on what they want, why should we care?

Instead of acting like they owe you the world get a grip, they could be working on it. Don’t judge the sims 3 vs. sims 2. Sims 2 had its run, sims 3 isn’t even done yet!

Sorry for ranting it just ticks me off when people act like they are superior and people know everything.

Very exited for this EP. I understand how upset about seasons everyone is, wanting that one instead. But I believe a seasons for sims 3 will come out in the future!
I COMPLETELY agree with the slider thing. Even though I would put werewolves at the highest (mwahh!) I understand.

I love this ep, I want it so bad right now… I was hoping for a seasons ep, but this is great… I think people who don’t like Sims 3 is because of their computer. I used to hate sims 3 because I played it on an old computer, but now I have a new one and it looks awesome… way better than sims 2.

I heard the rumors about this EP and I wasn’t impressed but now I have saw the trailer I want it! I only started playing the sims when the sims 2 released and I have every game except the sims 1 series and all the console games I am a big fan. it was like Showtime I saw the trailer and I said late night remake but once I bought it I am addicted to it. I loved the witches and warlocks in the sims 2 and I am quite excited about the zombies but all they need to do is add a new tab in the age sliders menu and make it for faiths etc and set it to 2 sims per world or 0 sims per world so it will make gameplay good for everybody if you don’t want werewolves just set it to zero but if you want to make a zombie apocalypse set it to the highest.

Also, i have a mac laptop that uses lion, but even in my Snow leopard,sims 2 didn’t work. I was told that the computers were to modern but are there any macs that sims2 still works on??

I agree with everyone who says that there needs to be a slider to determine wether you want to have the supernatural creatures or not, but how do we know that there isn’t? I’m not taking EA’s side or disagreeing with everyone else, just making a statement. Unlike some of the users making longer comments, I am a kid but am not new to sims. Well technically I’ve only ever owned Sims 2-3 (because of y age when it came out) but my sister and close friends always were playing sims 1 so Im not extremely new to the sims. This expansion pack seems fun, but the more comments i read, the less excited i am getting, i guess its the fact that having zombies and werewolves roaming the streets doesn’t exactly appeal to me. Im still waiting for a seasons (i barley got to play it for TS2) but any expansion pack is cause for celebration!

In a little over two hours from now, the sims 3 site will be down. They are updating it for Supernatural. Also, I have insider knowledge that tomorrow is the day. Trust me, I'm not a doctor. ;)
