Referenced T$R as a good place for custom content therefore everything he says from now on and in the past is completely invalid to me. Except for KPST being a stupid pack cause well it is.
I was thinking of buying this SP until I actually saw the stuff in game. None of it really is my style.
Seems rather childish, but hey, that’s your prerogative. TSR was a random example of somewhere with a bunch of free content, and I’ve made plenty of them in various videos. I see no problem with this.
Haha I think NoTime over-reacted, but I do understand that TSR has a pretty sketchy reputation for those in the know in the sims community. Sketchy business ethics, sketchy business practices, sketchy behind-the-scenes drama…..

Yeah, I don’t pay any attention to community drama, it’s a waste of my time. I just care about the content. If I can get quality content for free with minimal hassle, that’s all I need worry about.
And yes, I plan on reviewing TS1 at some point, although I’m currently doing a series on YouTube where I’m playing through each TS1 expansion. TS2 has yet to be decided.
Yes please do! I have followed your TS1 LGR Plays, which are awesome. But I do love your reviews as well because they are so humorous and informative of what you think of the entire package as opposed to just the situations you encounter in your playthroughs. What can I say, I’m a greedy viewer…. Both are great so I want both!!

TSR’s antics go far beyond the usual “drama” the Sims community is known for. A lot of what TSR get up to can be considered downright criminal.
To be honest, I was probably being way over the top. I was pretty much in a shit mood when I woke up (relevant cause first thing I did was check here for news) and TSR always just pisses me off and it put me over the edge a little bit. I have a tendency to speak then think about it.
Even reading that, I don’t see how that kind of stuff is my concern. It sucks if that info is true (hard to verify that), but there are way bigger problems in my life than some site having morons involved with it. Frick, if I took up a crusade against every company with shady people running the show, I’d never buy anything again.
Bottom line for me is: The site works, there is quality free stuff to get, and it’s still a better alternative than paying a giant greedy publisher a bunch of cash for a modicum of crappy content. I never said TSR was my preferred place for content, as it’s not. I just mentioned it as a passing example of a site to reliably get stuff for free.
Lol LGR I wouldn’t worry about defending yourself, its true TSR has lots of good content all in one place and a large percentage of people there are ignorant to behind the scenes anyway and offer their stuff for free. I agree totally with what your saying by the way. As for the review, I like the way you do it but personally I quite like this stuff pack, clothing especially, I do agree though its a little lack luster and slightly ‘cheap’ looking.
