New Store World Revealed!

SimGuruTaterTot teased in a thread a week ago that due to there being 5 weeks in January that there would be some interesting things announced soon (today). She didn’t let us down and has revealed the latest Store World, Aurora Skies. This world is named for the Aurora Borealis that can be seen on cloudy days in this world.

What do you think of the new store world? She’s written that it will be available with Simpoints only which may help ease those simmers who were upset over Monte Vista.

Oh gee wizz, I’ve always wanted more rabbit holes and over-priced store content! I wonder which old sims they are going to include int this world as a gimmick to help it sell? And the aurora? Really? An exceptionally badly rendered one? That’s the selling point? Plus, I swear they are rushing out games like nothing else. They want to move on to the Sims 4 so they can squeeze the life out of that too.

I personally am still having fun with Monte Vista, so I think I’ll probably wait a while to get this one (if I do). They’re appealing to a different demographic with the style of this world than the others, so it has its own niche in my opinion :)

I need to see more pics. For the moment, it doesn’t look very attractive compared to the other worlds. The design looks rushed.

The buildings look like something that a child would build out of Lego! Yuch!

Just lately it’s as if they are bored with making new stuff and just throw any old thing out.

Maybe the need to bring in fresh blood?
