The Sims 2 Site Closure Today

Today is the day that The Sims 2 Site will no longer be available. That also includes The Sims 2 Exchange. Be sure to download and save any content you want from the Exchange while you still can.

Don’t forget that you are still able to play The Sims 2 since it will only affect the Website and Online Features.

The Sims 2 Patches Are Back!

ts2With the recent announcement that The Sims 2 website shall be closing, we have decided it’s appropriate to bring back our patches section for The Sims 2. You can find all of the patches for the game by clicking here, or by going to “The Sims -> The Sims 2 -> Patches” in the site navigation.

In addition to this, we’re also planning to slowly building up a small collection of links to Sims 2 downloads, so be sure to email any to us if you want to see it on the site!

TheSims2.com Closing on 14th January 2013

All patches are available to download from our website.

Since the release of The Sims 3 not much has happened over at TheSims2.com, and it appears that EA believes now is the time to retire it’s online features and website. This means that all patches, blogs, the exchange, and so on will no longer be available to view. I am also presuming the web page The Sims 2 launcher opens will no longer be active either.

If you wish to save anything from the website, such as a download from the exchange, make sure you do before the online services are terminated. Mind you, 8 years of operation isn’t bad.
