(PC) Outdoor Living Stuff
Didn’t get a chance yesterday to post this, but Valve sent out a newsletter reminder that The Sims 3 Outdoor Living Stuff is now available on Steam. Now that EA gave Valve permission to include The Sims games on Steam, we should be seeing a faster turn around – heck, same day release – for digital content. Smart move, especially for Steam addicts. Get the game here.
My favorite reviewer, LazyGameReviews, uploaded their take on The Sims 3 Outdoor Living Stuff. Are you on the fence debating whether to pick up Outdoor Living Stuff? Watch – and listen – to this review to see what the buzz is all about!
I only wish to be as half as witty as LGR whenever I can setup my equipment at the new place to start on reviews.
EA has issued a press release for The Sims 3 Outdoor Living Stuff, which is now in Stores (in the US) today, with other countries releasing the game later in the week into next:
Make it the best day ever for your Sims when you redesign their outdoor living space! Today, The Sims 3 Outdoor Living Stuff pack is available for purchase in retail stores across North America and at The EA Store. The Sims 3 Outdoor Living Stuff pack is designed for you to enjoy hosting parties, grilling food, playing outside and ending the night in a hot tub for two.
Call the neighbors, strike the grill and start heating the hot tub; it’s a party in your Sims backyard! With The Sims 3 Outdoor Living Stuff pack give your Sims all the items needed for a leisurely day in the sun. New items include hot tubs, a telescope to gaze at the stars, fireplaces and fire pits, a terrarium with a stand and more! Choose from two new outdoor living styles. If your Sim prefers wrought-iron pieces pick the Garden Terrace collection, or if they’d prefer something more akin to the Tuscan sun choose Sunset on the Veranda with décor that brings the warmth of the outdoors to everyday living. Also included in the pack will be new clothing and hair for a perfect summer night under the stars or a neighborhood BBQ.

Hey, it’s February 1st, making it the official release date for The Sims 3 Outdoor Living Stuff here in the US! Anyone spot the game in stores yet? I’m eager in picking it up myself, but it looks like I’ll have to hold off until next Monday for doing so. Anyways, EA released 2 new pics from the Stuff pack, found by Sims Nieuws!
Update – a new one from The Sims 3 Facebook page
*Update* – the UK English trailer has been released. Thanks to JPsims and Sims Nieuws for letting me know!
EA France uploaded the french trailer for The Sims 3 Outdoor Living Stuff. As soon as an English version is made available, I’ll go ahead and replace it. Until then, it should serve its purpose
Provided by our friend Omnii over at the official Sims 3 forums, she has posted a few more images as well as the front/back cover art for The Sims 3 Outdoor Living Stuff. I wasn’t able to get them all due to the bandwidth limitations of photobucket. It was stated by members of the forum that there is only 1 male and 1 female hairstyle. Also, there is no leaflet to advertise for an upcoming expansion. However, once this is out of the way and in stores, I’m sure we’ll be hearing news about the 4th expansion within the next month!
Looks like a few people have already received The Sims 3 Outdoor Living Stuff pack a few days early. Omnii over at the official Sims 3 forums posted a number of screens of various items from the pack. Seeing as it’s the weekend, I may not have time to keep track of any new images that players will publish, so I urge you to check that thread out and keep an eye on various Sim fansites/forums in case others get the game. I’ll try to squeeze back to the computer later and see if whats new when I get a chance!
Thanks to Wolfgurl685 for bringing this to my attention!
