I remember the House of Worship in SimCity 4. Adding a few made Sims happy. Don’t remember what else they did if anything. Anyways, it appears that the next batch of SimCity DLC will be various House of Worships. They include a Church, Mosque, Buddist Temple and a New Age thing. Which the latter kinda reminds me of a place where Scientologist go to worship.
